The latest weight loss fad sweeping TikTok? Rice-Zempic, aka using rice water as a weight loss aid. The claim is that it's as effective as the weight loss drug Ozempic, and the logic goes a little something like this: as rice water contains digestion-resistant starch, drinking it (with a squeeze of lime for freshness and to extract the starch from the liquid) helps people to lower their weight.
