Despite the name, this airport is not actually located in Brussels. Passengers will find themselves arriving in Charleroi instead, which is about 34 miles (55 km) from the Belgian capital.

Warsaw Radom Airport, Poland -

Warsaw Radom Airport is a joint civil–military airport. It was recently renovated (pictured here under construction) and despite the name, it's not the closest airport to fly to if you're visiting Warsaw. The airport is located some 68 miles (110 km) from the city.

Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru, India -

This airport is not actually located in the capital of India’s Karnataka state, Bengaluru. Instead, Bangalore International Airport (as it's also known as) is located 18 miles (29km) from the city.

Denver International Airport, Colorado, United States -

Denver International Airport is not that close to the Mile High City. Passengers expecting to arrive close to Denver will find themselves 19 miles (30km) away from the capital of Colorado.

Milan is one of the most-visited cities in Italy, but this airport is still a long way away, or 26 miles (42 km) to be more precise.

London Luton Airport, England, UK -

There are a number of airports serving the British capital, and one of the most popular ones (particularly with low-cost airlines) is London Luton Airport. The airport is located in Luton, some 27 miles (44 km) from the center of London.

London Gatwick Airport, UK -

Like London Luton Airport, Gatwick is also located outside of London. The city is located 28 miles (45 km) away from the airport.

Glasgow Prestwick Airport, Scotland, UK -

The airport is really close to Prestwick, but don't expect the same if you're travelling to Glasgow. To reach the Scottish city, you'll have to travel 28 miles (45 km).

Incheon International Airport is modern and set in a gorgeous location, but South Korea's main airport is not that close to Seoul. The capital city is just over 30 miles (49 km) away.

Kuala Lumpur International Airport is the nation's main airport, but that doesn't mean it's close to the city it's supposed to serve. Located in the township of Sepang, the airport is located 30 miles (48 km) from the capital.

Yes, it's another "London" airport that is not actually located in the capital. London Stansted Airport is actually in the county of Essex, 31 miles (50 km) from London.

Brescia Montichiari Airport, also known as Verona Brescia Airport is, not the closest choice for passengers looking to reach the Italian city of Verona, which is 33 miles (53 km) away.

Hamburg Lübeck Airport, Germany -

As you can see on the map, Lübeck is not Hamburg. If Lübeck is your destination, then you couldn't be closer to the city. As for passengers wanting to reach Hamburg, they'll have to travel for around 34 miles (55 km).

Flying to Torp Sandefjord Airport isn't the quickest way to get to Oslo. The airport is located some 68 miles (110 kilometers) south of the capital city.
