Antlers are probably one of the wildest things that you can get through a TSA checkpoint. You may transport them in carry-on or checked bags.

Certain cats, birds, and dogs are allowed in plane cabins, but did you know that pet fish are also cleared for takeoff by TSA? Just make sure they're swimming in a clear spill-proof vessel.

In case you don't find anyone to water them while you're away, you can take your plants, trees, and even flowers with you on the flight.

If you want to take the skeletons in your closet with you on your flight, you can. However, the TSA only allows artificial skeleton bones.

Whether you've carrying them as part of some Halloween decor or for educational reasons, fake bones are allowed on the plane or inside checked luggage.

Whether you're heading to a lobster boil or bringing back an edible souvenir, TSA does allow live lobsters through the security checkpoint.

Your lobster must be packed in a clear, plastic spill-proof container. A TSA officer will inspect it at the checkpoint.

If you need your ink on the go, TSA has you covered. They allow tattoo guns through the checkpoint and in checked bags.

But if you decide to place a tattoo gun in checked luggage, be sure any lithium batteries are removed. Also, keep in mind that while the device itself is good to fly in the cabin, any tattoo ink is subject to stricter protocols. As it is a liquid, it's limited to just 3.4 ounces (100 ml) in carry-on bags.

If you're traveling with sports balls, don't worry. You can bring them onboard. Basketballs, baseballs, footballs, and soccer balls are all clear to pass through TSA checkpoints.

Surprisingly, even bowling balls are allowed. However, sports equipment that could be used as a bludgeoning weapon, like bowling pins, are prohibited and need to stay in your checked baggage.

If you're ever in the urge to bring along a dozen fresh, uncooked eggs on your next flight, don't worry because TSA won't mind.

Turns out, fresh eggs are allowed in both carry-on and checked luggage. However, you'll want to place them separately on the conveyor belt, so they don't obscure images taken by the scanner.

Snow globes that are roughly the size of a tennis ball are actually allowed through the checkpoint. So if you want to bring one back from your trip, don't worry!

However, the globes must be filled with no more than 3.4 ounces (100 ml) of liquid or less, and fit into a passenger's quart-size bag with the other liquids. Larger snow globes must be packed in checked bags.

If you play any musical instrument, don't hesitate to bring certain equipment onto the flight. Whether it's a guitar, ukulele, or a set of drumsticks, it will go through checkpoint.

There's one thing though, according to the TSA's official guidelines: musical instruments require additional screening, including physical inspection. So make sure you arrive early at the airport.

If you're someone who gets seriously creeped out by the dirt that might be lurking inside a hotel room or rental home, then it's perfectly understandable that you'll want to bring along your robot vacuum.

Good news for 'Star Wars' fans, lightsabers are fine to take on a plane! TSA notes that the "technology doesn't currently exist to create a real lightsaber," so toy models are unlikely to be flagged.

If you want to travel with a microwave in a plane cabin, rest assured it's allowed by TSA. Like other large electronics, microwaves should be removed from luggage and packaging, and placed on the conveyor belt separately.

Although TSA allow microwaves, you'll still need to verify that your airline allows them on board and that it fits within the size limits for carry-on bags.
