According to research, younger generations are more health-conscious than previous ones. For instance, approximately half of all Americans regularly take dietary supplements, the most common being multivitamins and multimineral supplements. However, a recent study conducted by the University of Michigan has found that a handful of herbal supplements can do more harm than good, and actually have a detrimental effect on the liver.
