The duo is best known for the 'Friends' theme song 'I'll Be There for You.' Five years earlier, in 1990, The Rembrandts had another hit called 'Just the Way It Is, Baby,' which actually ranked higher on the US Billboard Hot 100.

The Norwegian synth-pop group had two major worldwide successes, both of which were released in 1985. 'Take on Me' reached no. 1 in Europe and on the US Billboard Hot 100. 'The Sun Always Shines on TV' wasn't as huge, but was still big enough to count as a hit.

Their 1991 single 'Little Miss Can't Be Wrong' peaked at no. 17 on the Billboard Hot 100. The band's second single, 'Two Princes' was an even bigger success, reaching no. 7 on the chart.

Quiet Riot -

The American metalheads found success in 1983 with 'Bang Your Head (Metal Health),' but they're best known for their cover of Slade's glam hit 'Com on Feel the Noize.' The song was also released in 1983 and reached no.5 on the Hot 100.
