The movie 'Rust' is on its way to gaining notoriety as one of the most tragic and ill-fated productions in history. It all began on October 21, 2021, when Alec Baldwin unintentionally killed the cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured the film's director Joel Souza by firing a malfunctioning prop gun. This devastating incident sparked global outrage and prompted calls for stricter regulations regarding firearms on film sets.
Following the shooting, the production of 'Rust' came to a halt, and additional crew members were brought in to dismantle the set located on a ranch in New Mexico.
