Wind-driven wildfires are wreaking havoc across Los Angeles, leaving a path of destruction in some of the city’s most affluent neighborhoods. In less than 24 hours, the blazes have claimed five lives, destroyed over 2,000 structures, and forced tens of thousands to flee their homes, including several high-profile celebrities. The Hollywood Hills, home to stars like Leighton Meester, Adam Brody, Anna Faris, and Jennifer Love Hewitt, was under an evacuation order as fire crews battled flames. Meanwhile, the Palisades fire, which started on January 7, continues to burn. Fortunately, the winds have eased, providing some relief to firefighters.
