Tropical Storm Debby hit Florida on August 5. The Category 1 storm brought 80-mph (about 129 km7h) winds and heavy rainfall. Flash floods, tree falls, sinkholes, and more have been reported, bringing disruption and causing the death of four people so far. More than 350,000 people were left without power in Florida and Georgia. Airports have also been affected, with over 1,700 flights canceled in Florida.
Debby will move through the Southeast this week across Georgia and the Carolinas. Two tornadoes have already been confirmed in South Carolina, and a record-breaking 10-20 inches (25-50 cm) of rainfall is expected. Click through and see the latest images.
