A utopia is an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect. The idea of a utopia has intrigued us since antiquity. Ancient Greek philosophers mulled over what exactly a perfect society would look like. Many great authors have placed their novels in a utopian setting, including Thomas More—who actually coined the term in the early 1500s.
