Keira Knightley has appeared naked in sex scenes in a few of her films, but she's recently added a no-nudity clause to her contract. During an episode of the 'Chanel Connects' podcast, the actress talked about how, after having children, she's not willing to do naked or sex scenes, but specifically with male directors.
“It’s partly vanity and also it’s the male gaze,” she said. “I feel very uncomfortable now trying to portray the male gaze.”
Knightley said she understands the value of those sex scenes, but added, "I’m too vain and the body has had two children now and I’d just rather not stand in front of a group of men naked."
She may be a bombshell, but you will never see her filming a sex scene. The star said there is no way she will ever get involved in a sex tape. "That's the last thing I want to see is what I look like having sex," she told MTV News.
Jessica Alba played a stripper in 'Sin City' (2005), but won't be seen without clothes on camera anytime soon. The actress has a strict no-nudity clause, and explained why in an issue of Glamour: "I don’t want my grandparents to see my boobs. That’s it. It would be weird at Christmas."
The British comedian stated he will never do a sex scene. "I don't want to see this body. Nobody does!," he reportedly told The Sun.
The actress played the role of Cersei Lannister in 'Game of Thrones,' a show known for having a lot of nudity. But the British actress used a body double for her naked scene, and had her head superimposed onto the body double.
The actress from 'Mad Men' turned down several roles that required her to get full frontal. Hendricks told New York Magazine: “It kind of hurt my feelings at first,” she says. "Anytime someone talks about your figure constantly, you get nervous, you get really self-conscious. I was working my butt off on the show, and then all anyone was talking about was my body!"
Rita Wilson made a guest appearance in the HBO's series 'Girls,' and asked for one specific thing in her contract: no nudity. She told Us Weekly: "I [wanted] it put in my contract . . . [They] don't want to see me naked," she said. "That's all I have to say. I'm like, 'Don't write in any nudity, please!'"
